During the PvP Weekend Event, this skill was the big daddy of Assassin skills. With blind and daze, you could cripple ANY class. Follow this attack with Twisting Fangs and your foe would be in a world of hurt. Even if your target survives you could reaplly it fairly quickly. The way it is now, I wonder if it'll stay the way it is until release.

I thought i noticed an elite that was like X amount of time target foe could not be the target of any enchantments. If that elite was there, it blows away temple strike in a heart beat, as it is like taking out any BP healer that wants to heal that target.

With more time to test it over this weekend, It was pretty much found by everyone to be lackluster compared to the hype it got in the other weekend.
Thats probably because we could test more this weekend :\
Not the longest Duration. Its not Spammable, and They can sense it coming since you can only use it in a chain after lead attack.
They said something like 'Locust's Fury' was actually helping them more in the fight.

Still you have to consider all the other skills that inflict daze have to intrupt something.
This doesn't. So in otherword in order for balance to prevail we must get the buff bat and buff the other daze skills or get the nerf bat and hit this one hard.
I like the Buff bat solution

During the PvP and Preview weekend, I runned a build with Temple Strike + Repeating Strike spam. I used a R/A with Expertise for energy and Tiger's Fury, so I could interrupt each 0.89 seconds
I love this skill!

Temple Strike may be unbalanced in 4v4, but in larger PVP there's likely to be someone other than your target with Martyr, Restore Condition, or Draw Conditions, which makes TS a lot less impressive.

Condition spam
Like Reks says, if you follow Temple Strike with Twisting Fangs you can give many conditions. But consider also, after Twisting Fangs, casting Virulence (as an As/N); a single foe will suffer from Dazed, Blind, Bleeding, Deep Wound, Poison, Disease and Weakness! Plus all of the other damage from attacks before and after, it should be enough to seriously cripple a foe. Watch out if the foe has Plague Signet though!
* Edit: Yes, as Murder says, they are both elite (Virulence and Temple Strike) - I meant for another party member to cast Virulence, but that wasn't clear from the post I see.

Well, its already an elite, compared to that of concussion shot, which isnt, and whats more Broad Head Arrow, a ranger elite for factions, also inflicts a non-conditional Daze for longer. Temple strike is still good, but i prefer making an enemy totally without support from boon prots.

Temple strike isn't that great when used practically imo, the duration of the two conditions aren't that impressive and you're wasting 15 energy like that if you miss.

Considering what it does, I don't see how it makes it "not that great." For a short time, you've practically disabled whatever class you're hitting. And missing is always a risk with this kind of stuff
If you want to get technical, you could always take that skill that makes it so your next number of attacks can't be blocked or evaded.

Well shame they nerfed it so it lasts only 8 seconds and has a 25 recharge. But with silencing upgrade you can make it last 10.
